Jesse Johnston is a Nashville-based musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist blending heartland storytelling with a love for gritty 90s country, modern Americana, and southern soul. Known for his feel-driven guitar work, piano lines that walk the line between honky-tonk and gospel, and a lived-in vocal style, Jesse brings authenticity to every note.

Whether he's fronting a live band, laying down tracks in the studio, or collaborating with artists behind the scenes, Jesse’s mission is simple: serve the song. With a background in both performance and production, he knows how to craft a sound that resonates—musically and emotionally.

He’s also the founder of Johnston Entertainment, where he produces tracks for other artists and writers, bringing a musician’s touch to every session.

Born in West Plains, Missouri, Jesse’s earliest influences came from classic country acts—thanks to his father’s old taste is music—and he developed a love for songwriting by age twelve, channeling big personalities into three-minute stories. After debuting onstage in Arkansas and refining his craft through open‑mic nights across Panama City Beach, Jesse moved to Nashville in 2021, fully committing to his dream as a professional songwriter and performer. In 2024, Jesse began attending college at SAE Institute working on getting his bachelors in Audio and an associates in music business.

Now deeply embedded in Nashville’s songwriting and recording community, Jesse expertly blends originals and covers with first hand stories from within the country music industry. His live shows always include heartfelt stories that will make you laugh, make your cry and maybe make you side-eye.
